How to clean the retainer

    Retainer is considered a very important device for orthodontic people. When the braces are done, they must be put in order to keep the teeth in good condition all the time, so we must pay attention to the issue of cleanliness because if it is not good, many problems can occur. Either smelly, deformed or have limestone stains. If you forget or don't care, there is no discipline in wearing. It will cause the teeth to fall, crooked teeth, and spaced teeth.

Method 1: Brush the retainer with a soft toothbrush and mild soap. or dishwashing liquid

in cleaning the retainer by gently scrubbing all over the retainer, including the steel envelope, which is recommended to be done every day, morning-evening

Method 2: Clean with Vinegar or Apple Cider Water

     Suitable for cleaning heavy stained retainers. The method is to use apple cider vinegar or water mixed with water in a ratio of 1: 1, soak for 1 hour, brush the retainer first and then rinse with clean water. Just like this, the clean retainer is back to use.

Method 3: Use effervescent tablets to clean dentures.

       Put the retainer in a glass of water, fill with clean water, and drop the effervescent tablets into it. Soak the retainer for 30-40 minutes. Just like this, the effervescent tablets will help clean dirt and bacteria easily. We should soak the effervescent tablets 1-2 times a week or you can soak them every day.
